- Client, a prominent local businessman, was charged with second-degree sodomy and faced up to 7 years in prison if convicted. RESULT: Not guilty verdict after trial.
- Client, a prominent local doctor, charged with leaving the scene of an accident with a fatality and faced a sentence of up to 4 years in prison. RESULT: Over the strenuous objection of the Assistant District Attorney, the attorney for the defendant convinced the judge to sentence the client to probation with community service. No jail time.
- Client, a prominent businessman, faced multiple federal fraud and bribery counts in the Middle District of Florida (Jacksonville). The client faced upwards of 20 years in prison if convicted on all potential charges. RESULT: Negotiated a plea disposition with the United States Attorney’s Office whereby the client plead guilty to a single count of bribery and was sentenced to only six months in a federal halfway house (incarcerated only at night). The client was able to continue the successful operation of his international business.
